Ceramic Veneers
- Require at least 2-3 appointments including a trip to the dental lab and the entire process takes about 2-3 weeks.
- Approximately 40% of your tooth is removed.
- Ceramic veneers are great for hiding dark teeth.
- Once a veneer is placed on a tooth it will forever more need a crown or veneer to cover it.
- Can look fake or manmade by being too white or too perfect.
- If the ceramic breaks or chips, you must get a new veneer which can take weeks or longer.
Bioclear Veneers
- Single visit procedure.
- Little to no tooth preparation.
- Usually less expensive than ceramic veneers and at least as long lasting.
- Can be used to straighten and whiten your smile but not to the extent that a ceramic veneer can.
- If for some reason you wanted to remove the Bioclear veneer, we can remove it and all your original tooth is still there.
- The composite veneer can stain like all tooth-colored fillings. This typically is not a problem.
- Very realistic because they blend so perfectly with your natural enamel
- Can be repaired easily if chipped or broken.
- Long lasting up to 15, 20, 30 years.
